| Favorite movies | Basically anything in black and white. I love movies with Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper, Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, Humphry Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly...basically all of the legendary Hollywood actors. I can't say that I have a favorite. I love them all. |
| Favorite music | I love hymns. I have a collection of of CD's and sheet music with hymn arrangements. Choral music is a huge weakness of mine. There's nothing like having a bad day and locking yourself away with a Requiem playing softly in the background. I also have a soft spot for Concert Band music. Sousa anyone???? :) |
| Favorite books | Oh goodness...I have to pick????? I literally have a list that's about 3 pages long! (and it keeps getting bigger!!!) I LOVE Austen (what young girl doesn't dream about one day marrying Mr. Darcy???), I'm especially fond of early American Literature and poety. As much as I love all of these, I can honestly say that my most favorite book of all time is the Bible. I read a portion of it every day. What other book can bring comfort, peace, faith, conviction, and wisdom all at once??? It's definately at the top of my list. |
