Favorite music	The music we make together. Sing alongs at family parties, especially the small intimate ones after most of the guests have gone home. Partial to traditional Irish, Middle Eastern, world, folk, independent Canadian artists, etc.
Favorite books	The Flavia DeLuce series by Alan Bradley, anything by Adriana Trigiani, The Thirteenth Tale (Diane Setterfield), The Outlander Series (Diana Gaboldon), The Elegance of the Hedgehog (Muriel Barbery), The Red Tent (Anita Diamante), The Autobiography of Henry VIII, The Book of Negroes (Lawrence Hill), anything by Sarah Waters, anything set in 16th century Venice or England, The Mists of Avalon, Thornyhold by Mary Stewart
