Introduction	After living away from the great City of Oaks for almost ten years I’ve returned with a husband, two sons and a mutt named Porter. Determined to view Raleigh with fresh eyes and a renewed spirit, I am eager to taste all that this city has to offer. Naturally, this city houses my family, so I cannot discount its large presence in my small world. In an effort to shrink what may feel like an overwhelming and vast metropolis to a more neighborly community with locally-acting and globally-minded citizens, I will explore the people, places and events of this one corner of the world.
