Introduction	WELNepal stands for Women's Education and Literacy in Nepal. We're a small Toronto-based NGO dedicated to helping Nepali women in the Chitwan region of their country learn how to read and write in their language. We offer basic, advanced and remedial literacy classes and our on-the-ground Nepali staff is made up of passionate locals who have dedicated huge portions of their lives to helping underprivileged women. WELNepal also offers organic farming training, health and ecology classes, candle-making courses and other community-building projects.
