Introduction Cave Bear is a surviving Ursus Spelaeus from Pleistocene Europe who, fated to be the last of his race, grew in size and wisdom before, eleven millennia ago, he was forced by storm and ice into a mountain cave where his body froze. Though dormant for aeons, he observed most of the holocene epoch through distant dreams, until being woken from hypothermic hibernation in the ninth-century by a group of worshipful vikings seeking requests for power and wisdom. Having gained in power and consciousness, Cave Bear at first granted both the requested boons. However, his relationship with the Vikings would sour with time until, in 1341, alienated by the course of history, Cave Bear returned to the again-advancing ice, leaving his great enemy, the Bearbreaker to wander the earth, deathless, in futile search. In 2004, Cave Bear emerged from hibernation once more, to find shamanism, pantheism and the warrior’s code everywhere driven to the world's margins. In his current arousal, CB writes (syndicated) columns on anthropoid culture, political philosophy, and world affairs. Fate, in the form of his once-human enemy Sigurd Bearbreaker, sharpens its axe, Blood-gulper, and waits in the shadows.

In the dream where you show up to school naked, why do you never go swimming?

N/A (why would you assume I don't go swimming? How do you think bears relax? Aside from just relaxing, of course)
