| Introduction | Hi, we’re Megan and Ashley; 2 high school students from British Columbia chosen to represent Canada in the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership Research Competition. We believe the Innovation in Tourism project can better our understanding the magnitude of the world of tourism around us by focusing not on the bigger picture of tourism in British Columbia or Canada, but slowing down to taking a look at our own community. It is an honor to be selected to represent not only our school and community but our country on the world stage at the GTTP Conference. Our combined work experience in the field of Tourism includes placements in the Hotels & Accommodations, Recreation & Entertainment and Food & Beverage sectors. |
