| Introduction | I began this blog in 2006 after my sister, "The Old Bag", showed me how. My blog is about nothing, really. Just stuff I do, think, observe, draw, or find humorous. I work in student services at a large college and need a diversion. The pseudonym "Emma Pod" originated in 2005 from an ongoing joke with a co-worker about being "drones" and "pods" at work. What's the most amount of sand you've ever had in your swimming trunks?
On our first trip to Maui, a wave picked me up, spun me around like a washing machine, filled my suit with sand, and deposited me shaken but unharmed - for which I was grateful. The sand was the least of it.
