Introduction	I'm a writer and teacher with a Ph.D. in evolutionary theory. Becoming a Phud was important then, but now mostly comes in handy as a source of writing inspiration. I presently live in Wisconsin, but was raised in Nigeria, England, Israel and Kenya, as well as the U.S. I've been as peripatetic in career as in residence, working all kinds of jobs from oil company geologist to museum exhibit developer, statistician to pre-school teacher.
