Introduction	This Blog was born from boredom due to the tedious nature of postoperative recovery. In August 2010 had a Hip Arthroscopy that involved a Femoracetabular Decompression and Labral repair, the result of general wear and tear following decades of dancing. Am I an OAP? Well I’m the same age as Darcey Bussell (in fact she’s actually 4 months older than me, Sshhhh!), so you decide. In an attempt to amuse myself I decided to indulge in that most popular 21st Century pastime: The Blog. It's purpose? To take a lighthearted look at Classical Ballet, the characters that dwell within its world, dance in general, a bit of popular culture and fashion and of course, most importantly, medical updates on my progress, which I’m sure you will all find beyond scintillating!
