Introduction | We are a family with three tulips, ages 8, 6, and 3. We live and work in the Middle East, although our hometown is one of those quirky Dutch pockets in Midwest America. For readers unfamiliar with Arabic, Abu Tulip means father of Tulip and Um Tulip means mother of Tulip. It's common here for people to use Abu and Um, along with the name of your firstborn, to refer to friends and family members. In the blogging world our kids are named Oliver, Teddy Bear, and Linus. |
