| Introduction | My name is Dave and im just reaching my 32nd birthday(!!) Up until a few months ago i was happily living and working in London in the Visual Effects world of Film. I have always worked right in the middle of Soho and for one reason or another i woke up one day and realised i needed a change. A big change. The urge to be closer to nature, to have fresh air in my lungs and some open space around me grew stronger. I decided to change my life completly and see what happens. I packed up my flat in Putney and put all my stuff into storage and headed for New Zealand. Weta Digital is based here in Wellington and im lucky enough to have been able to secure a job with them for at least a year. Who knows from there? Luckily , my wonderful girlfriend Joanna and her ever faithful companion Kinks the Kat have decided to come and make the change with me. As of the Middle of January 2007 we three will move into a new home, in a new City, in a new Country to start a new life. I hope that this blog will show all that has happened to get here and all the exciting propects that lie ahead. |
