Introduction	I am Theo's Mummy. I write this blog to keep friends and family informed about our littlest boy. Theo was born 21st July 2008, a healthy 8lb 6oz baby. He contracted a virus which caused myocarditis and led to dilated cardiomyopathy. He spent 10 weeks on intensive care and a further 7 months in a high dependency ward. He finally came home at the start of April.He has a tracheostomy and ventilator, and is fed through a tube only. He requires lots of regular medication and has grown and developed remarkably. His overall prognosis is a heart transplant as his cardiomyopathy will eventually result in heart failure.
