About me

Introduction	I am in the acute mom stage of my life with my husband in that a lot of what we are about revolves around being parents. We love it though and realize this time is fleeting. I love to do anything creative; Write, Scrapbook, photography, beading, decorating etc. I also love to learn, read, teach ( I was a corporate trainer) do marketing consulting, I have a degree in marketing and it has been rewarding to see my ideas put to work for company's and professional's I have helped. I LOVE my family and my home and my brothers and sisters, parents. I am to my detriment a sentimental girl. My biggest passion is any type of adventure, I love to go on adventures big or small. This past year the big one was Florida and Walt Disney World, The Atlantic Ocean and Kennedy Space Center. A small one was Bear Lake, great beach and seashells. Jade says I am a girly girl, I love lip gloss, bags, shoes etc. but I also love to get dirty hiking and being outdoors.
Interests	We are one of those families that could have easily been viewed as "oh it is so sad, they have dealt with a lot" but we simply didn't have time or the tolerance to become that. Instead we are thriving and laughing as we realize our goals and dreams, raise Jade, plan for the future, spend time with family and friends,explore and lately, grow sunflowers. Why not? they always follow the sun (the light) and that's us for sure! Jade is about to enter the fifth grade in the spectrum program. She LOVE'S her dog Boo, her cat Sox, her Mom and Dad and her extended family, especially her baby cousins which she will babysit for free and she is very hard on herself. Jade's favorite things are not things at all...She likes to garden, bead, bake, sew, scrapbook, read and play the WII after spending time with friends. She helps out a lot by running around for me, cleaning the car or family room and even grocery shopping! She is a great girl. There are several little boys that like her but it does not phase her at all, they are her friends. Mythbuster's on Discovery Channel is her favorite t.v. show and watermelon and steak are her favorite foods.
