| Introduction | I'm a twenty-something graduate of Southern Methodist University where I majored in Art History and Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. During my time at SMU I pledged Kappa Kappa Gamma and enjoyed tailgates filled with bow ties and seersucker. I was born and bred in Florida, minus a brief stint in the great states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I am recently married to my high school sweetheart, and I am figuring out ways to balance our new life and maintain my sanity. I love my friends, shopping, decorating, reading, movies, antique silver, monograms, tennis, golf, theme parties and all things SOUTHERN. I am blessed to begin my journey as a Teach For America corps member and will start my position as a high school English teacher in Dallas, Texas next August. In the meantime, I am enjoying life as a substitute, a home maker in my extracurricular time and a blogger! |
