Introduction | I'm just a 23 year old born and raised on Long Island's south shore. I'm an EMT with a Bachelors of Science in Human Ecology with a specialization in Apparel Design and Textile Science and a background in biological anthropology. Oh, I'm also a water safety instructor, who loves to volunteer. Needless to say, my personality is all over the place. I'm addicted to nonfiction reading, design, evolutionary psychology, learning, oysters, style, exposing the bra matrix (War on plus Four! WooWoo!), trying new foods, and nectarines. My life philosophies are 1. You're never too young to start learning about history's pandemics and 2. Science always wins. |
Interests | fashion history, food history, cooking "exotic" foods, good old chinese carry-out (I bleed oyster sauce), trying new food (ostrich burgers anyone?), flying, reading, researching, Halloween, spring, interior decorating, Mad Men, advancements in surgery and the administration of vaccines, emergency medical services, AmeriCorps, first aid, Red Cross, organizing, being in, on, under, or in the vicinity of water, oh yes and longs walks to the park to get my swing on |
Favorite Movies | The Magical Legend of The Leprechauns, Bring It On, Poseidon, Swing Kids, V For Vendetta, But I'm A Cheerleader, Dark Knight, American Psycho, South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut, Donnie Darko, The Hangover, and so on... |
Favorite Music | The Format, alternative, classical, indie, oldies, pop, punk, rock, ska, swing, rap, r&b |

Aren't papier mache cuts the worst?
No, cuts from rusty serrated knives covered in necrotizing fasciitis are the worst.
