| Introduction | Hi there, I'm Mars. A thirty something working mom, wife, and self-taught baker. Aside from my family my other love is...(wait for it) BAKING! By day I sit behind a desk as an executive assistant for an investment firm but by night (after my daughter's asleep) I become one with my Kitchen Aid mixer. I started baking in my early teens but I didn't realize until a few years ago that I had a real passion for it. I started this blog to chronicle all the sweet things that I create in my kitchen. Not everything will be baked, I also love to make other desserts and confections too. I learned to bake by watching TV, reading books, youtube, the internet and an occasional baking class in and around the bay area. But mostly I practiced a lot on my own.
