| Introduction | Attaining the elevated age of seventy gives perspective: a weird one perhaps - sometimes petty and sometimes wise. Still feeling the whoosh of speedy time travel, we stagger into another decade wondering just how we got here. This one's life lessons can be shared - perhaps dropping pearls before swine, perhaps scattering wit and wisdom to an eager audience. Myself, I've never known exactly how one finds a word thread out amongst these many dark stars. I've been a student, a poet, a wife, a mother, a business person, and an attorney. Along the way I've done factory work, run an old fashioned hospital switchboard, been a potter, had a foster family group home, and explored the law. This year I traveled in a 1986 Holiday Rambler Monitor- 35 feet of creaking old metal. Come see what I've learned. |
