| Introduction | After spending the past 47 years working for others, I decided it was time to do things for myself and my wife Lani. What greater thing then to retire early and move to a lower cost of living nation? Of course the fact that Lani has family in Indonesia made the decision of which nation an easy one. The time has finally arrived to head out in quest of our dreams. There are many in Lani's family that she hasn't seen for over 30 years and some she has never met. For me, there are many more I have never met and want to get to know. Indonesia also offers me new territory for my photography. This is something I plan on pursuing in the weeks, months, and years ahead. While my Social Security won't start for another year and finances will be tight, we still plan on having adventures that most will never experience. |
