| Introduction | I am a writer, educator, and learning scientist. At Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy, I teach courses and conduct research on community program design, Holocaust memory, and human rights pedagogy. I develop and facilitate workshops and training programs on design and human rights for educators, students (from middle-school to graduate level), and non-profit teams. A member of the Illinois Holocaust and Genocide Commission, I also sit on the editorial advisory board of the journal The Holocaust in History and Memory. Originally from London, I now live in Chicago with my husband and our amazing daughter. (The views expressed here are my own.) |
