| Introduction | Our mission is to empower women living under often appalling economic circumstances with income-producing crafting skills. I have become an advocate for social enterprise working together with non profit to create ongoing income for poor, previously unskilled women. Our priority is to spread awareness for the successful concept of social enterprise and non profit working together to create sustainable income-producing environments for women who are often the sole breadwinners for their families. Social entrepreneurs have a component inherent in their focus not shared with regular entrepreneurs. This is The Compassion Component - the desire to do business in often risky regions of the world that offer opportunities to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged.
