Introduction	I am a writer. I'm working on a novel. I may even finish it. At the moment I am in the second year of a Creative Writing Masters with Manchester Metropolitan University. I've had both poetry and short stories published and this blog is as much for me as it is for you! I've moved around quite a bit but I am fiercely Irish in outlook and temperament. In the last year have moved to East Sussex with my partner and our dogs, two Irish Setters. I believe that people are inherently good. Sometimes I am let down; sometimes I am surprised, but mostly I am right :)
Interests	Writing, comedy, music, good company
Favorite movies	Too many to choose - some favourites include: The Talented Mr Ripley, The Green Mile, Vanilla Skies, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (original subtitled version), The Devil's Backbone, Pan's Labyrinth
Favorite music	I'm an indie girl! Muse, Elbow, The Killers, Florence & the Machine all of those and more. I'm not averse to any music really other than C&W.
Favorite books	Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, Stephen King's early stuff up to and including Pet Cemetary, anything by Lisa Jewell or Isla Dewar for lighter reading.
