IntroductionDulce Mia is Spanish for 'my sweet.' I am an attorney licensed in North Carolina and Tennessee. I've provided legal services to indigents including state's custody and incarcerated juveniles and domestic violence victims. I've presented some basic immigration law to Spanish speaking members in my community. I've worked with programs aimed at teen gang prevention that incorporate boxing and weight training, and I serve on a domestic violence courts coalition. I assisted with felony voter restoration and served as a poll watcher during President Obama's election. My passion is Spanish. I have taught my children the language and taught it in the Hamilton County public school system. I am interested in the arts, design, film, music, and politics. Refutation is the highest form of debate, and requires a strong handle on the facts. We are met with framing and distraction constantly. While it is hard, it is not impossible to navigate beyond framing and distraction into the realm of understanding.
InterestsBooks, music, nature, design the arts, politics, Spanish.
