| Introduction | Raised in Canada & moved to US in 1985. Had a great career in the medical world but deep down inside, I wasn't living my dream. My dream finally came true in 2006 when I had Dillon. To be able to stay at home with him is just such a blessing!! However, single parenting was not what I had planned for, but everyday God gives me the strength to go further! It's been overwhelming at times adjusting to Dillon's Special needs, Heart Defect, GTUBE, Food Allergies & Feeding challenges but somehow I wake up every morning able to do it all just fine! Down Syndrome awareness & to become a strong advocate is my goal. I have beaten the odds by overcoming being paralyzed & having RSD despite what my doctors had said & I know that Dillon can do the same with any challenges he may face. |
