Introduction	There is a subtle tinge, spark when we feel completely alive. These instaneous flashes, fleeting moments, compound to provide substance to our lives. The long inhale of the saxaphone player before his solo, the extra squeeze between a long married couple as they join hands down the sidewalk, the blank stare of a teenager out of the car window... these little moments in life are what I attempt to capture in my work. When observing, the re-creating these images sometimes for days, their weight becomes increasingly apparent.
