| Introduction | I am a 36 year old mom of 2 living in the great state of Kansas. I actually like Kansas, believe it or not. Not that I can't enjoy fabulous locations like the Caribbean, Colorado, Alaska, and such, but Kansas is home. My life is full of activities mostly connected with my kids. We do love to travel and have a Garden Railroad. Yep, we're pretty eccentric. I host my private blog for family and friends, and one for WAGRS garden railroad club. As for the WAGRS blog. I am the blog master for this club as we have been members for going on 5 years now. We tried to do a website, but that was a mess. "Hey, lets blog it!" I told them. So, here we are. Check us out. |
| Interests | Sports, mainly golf, football, and volleyball. Gardening, travel with family and alone with my husband. Raising my kids to be respectful, caring, and responsible. |
| Favorite movies | Newer: National Treasure movies, Gone in 60 Seconds, "The Mummy" series, Band of Brothers, North and South, anything action adventure. Classic: Anything with Jimmy Stewart, Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, or Dick Van Dyke. I love retro TV like Emergency!, The Love Boat, Fall Guy, and Dynasty. These are my corny pleasures. |
| Favorite music | Country Music! baby! I love George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift, Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, Rascal Flatts, Reba, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, you name it. And yes, I own and WEAR Justin Cowboy boots and a Corona Cowboy hat in the summer and a Stetson wool hat in the winter. |
| Favorite books | Most recent, biographies of Dog the Bounty Hunter and Condoleeza Rice. I love reading about real persons lives. I am currently reading a biography of Buck Compton, from Band of Brothers. |
