Aside from writing books, I also write articles and textbooks, and edit material in areas as diverse as art history, music, medicine and healthcare, law, language, literature and education. I've been a member of the Authors Guild since 1986, and the Editorial Freelancers Association for several years. I'm a trustee of the Carnegie Fund for Authors.
