Introduction	I'm not a journalist, a statistician or an athelete. The last time I played the gentleman's game was with eight other fourth-graders in a parking lot, winning after the ball rolled underneath a pickup truck to allow my partner and I, chasing 37, to run the nine we needed for victory. My opinions on the game should be viewed accordingly. I write about cricket because I love it. Also, if I keep blathering to the Canadians around me about a sport they have no knowledge of and little interest in, I run the risk of being drugged or hit over the head to make me shut up. It's safer this way.
