Introduction	I have worked with textiles for many years, from making theatrical costumes to designing collectors teddy bears. My current focus of work is my Boxes of Curiosity. Delving into our curious fascination with death, religion and the macabre, via gothic Victoriana, with a bit of theatre for good measure, it seems one object leads to another and a story emerges, sometimes of its own accord. My passion for collecting old and interesting things has been inspirational in my work and the detail is all important to me.
