| Introduction | Mnemosyne is the goddess of memory and the mother of the Muses. C.J. Jung believed that our psyches are the repository for personal and collective memory, and that humans are always "becoming" as they integrate present experience with their individual and shared pasts. Mnemonsyne chronicles the first year of teaching a Classics based AP English class at Morristown High School, with specific emphasis on the ways in which students recognize the influence of and integrate the past with their present. |
