Introduction	I am a father, husband, engineer, and am trying to live my life according to the tenets of the Bible. My wife and I have 2 daughters. I am not a financial adviser, licensed or otherwise. I am an engineer that has been investing for over 25 years. My portfolio was hammered in the tech wreck in the early 2000s. The only investment that I have found that minimizes risk and provides a real rate of return is to buy and hold stocks in companies that pay dividends. You can read up on David Fish’s Champions list of companies that have increased dividends for over 25 years, or look for the next potential big name, such as Starbucks or Visa. Whatever you decide, you must do your own due diligence before investing.
