| Introduction | I am a self taught Canadian artist devoted to Realism and dedicated to upholding and promoting the highest standard in art. Through my paintings I seek to express both subjects and qualities that I want to see in the world. My intention is to create paintings that can be described as clean, beautiful, refined, and contemplative both in the choices in subject and how they are created. The subjects I choose range from portraits and figures to still life and landscapes. Throughout, I endevour to balance my dedication to the skill and craft of painting with the understanding and development of art as an expression of life.
