| Introduction | Dr. Henry Foong FRCP, FAMM graduated with an MBBS degree from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. His dermatology training was received at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur and at the Department of Dermatology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur followed by clinical training at St. Thomas’s Hospital, London, England, Department of Dermatology, University of Edinburh, Edinburgh, Scotland and at the SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Dr Henry Foong is a consultant dermatologist at Foong Skin Specialist Clinic, Ipoh, Malaysia. He is Board (NSR) certified in Dermatology as well as in Internal Medicine. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the official Malaysian Journal of Dermatology (2006-2008), President of Dermatological Society of Malaysia (2014-2016), Member of the Dermatology Subcommittee of the National Specialist Registry (2016-present) and was on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Dermatology (2005-2015). He has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals both locally and internationally. Henry’s main interests are teledermatology, laser surgery and medical education. |
