Introduction	I am English my husband is Lebanese, together we are an interesting cross cultural combination. I love Lebanon and the Lebanese food and the family who live both there and in other parts of the world. I first tasted home cooked food in Lebanon when my mother in law used to prepare it with love and attention. She always said (fe nafis bil akel) which means when you cook you need to be in the right mood otherwise it will affect the food. I think this is true in any culture. Food cooked with ill will or resentment will not taste good.
