| Introduction | I was born and raised (mostly) a Southern girl. I claim Nashville as my hometown because my parents live there now. I lived in New York City for a few years after I graduated from college, but decided the fast-paced city life wasn't really for me. A few years ago I married an Indiana boy, and now I live in a house surrounded by cornfields and couldn't be happier about it! My husband Shane is the love of my life, and we have an adorable baby boy who is always smiling and brings us unspeakable joy. :) We also share our little ranch house with our 2 German shepherds, Indy and Harley. I work as a worship leader at our church, and really love it. I am learning a lot about marriage, motherhood, ministry, etc...and am very happy. Life is good! |
| Interests | digital scrapbooking, surfing the web, learning photoshop, and keeping up with friends on facebook (is that a hobby?). I also like reading good fiction, writing music, playing the piano (although i'm not very good), singing harmonies (my favorite!), and being with my family. While I love to hang out with our friends, I think there's nothing better than a night at home with my boys, just enjoying each other. |
| Favorite Music | I listen to a lot of worship music for my job, but truthfully, I'd listen to it anyway because I love it. I also love country music and "chill pop." not sure if that is a legit description or not. Classical music is always good. |
| Favorite Books | I'd like to impress you with my vast library of biographies, books that address world issues, and memoirs...but given the choice, i really only read fiction. I mean, I have a baby, people!!! If I get a second to read, it's gonna be something i LIKE. And I usually choose something either totally gritty, like a murder/crime novel, or totally cheesy, like an impossibly over the top chick lit story. Can't explain why...just like it that way! |
