| Introduction | I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2009 with a degree in elementary & special education (K-6). I just started working on my Master's in Collaborative Education (6-12) online at Jacksonville State. I'm in the second year as the 7th & 8th grade special ed teacher at Childersburg Middle, and I truly LOVE my job. I work with a wonderful faculty, a supportive administration (at both school and system-wide level), and feel loved by all of my students (almost) every day. I have a wonderful husband- Wes McClendon. We were married June 12. We bought a house in Sylacauga back in December, and are loving every minute of being home-owners. I have wonderful friends and wonderful family. I guess I'm one of those people that's just "disgustingly" happy...lol...but I prefer to say BLESSED!!! |
