| Introduction | I'm just a regular gal who's spent a large portion of her life ill. At age 23 I became very ill and several doctors and hospitals later was diagnosed with elevated EBV levels. I spent 2 years being very ill while having to maintain a full-time job to support myself and my toddler. I was plagued by so many things including severe fatigue, panic attacks 24/7, muscular spasms, extreme hair loss, and a seemingly overnight 60lb weight gain. The list goes on. Over the years my symptoms continued to worsen and I began to develop new ones. Doctor visit after doctor visit gave me no hope. No one seemed to know what to do or what test to run. The tests that were administered always came back as normal. At the start of this blog it has been nearly 7 years since I fell sick. I turn 30 this year and I want my life back. I want my 30's to be the 20's that I lost! I FINALLY stumbled upon a great doctor (accidently actually) who has tested me forwards and backwards. We're getting to the bottom of my health conditions. I'm committed to changing my life, bettering my health, and informing others of discoveries along the way. Everyone deserves a good quality of life. |
