| Introduction | SimpleThree was created by nationally renowned, clinically registered Child & Family Therapist, Ward V. Halverson, LCSW-R, M.Ed.. Prior to becoming a therapist, Halverson worked as a public school teacher, inner city residential treatment center clinician and social worker. While serving as a U.S. Army medical officer and the Director of Mental Health in Afghanistan, Halverson created a ground breaking, accountability-driven, behavioral modification system designed to more humanely and effectively, manage Taliban and Afghan detainees. His system was so successful, it was later cited by President George W. Bush for its effectiveness and remains in place to this day. After returning home from Afghanistan, Halverson went into private practice as a Child & Family Therapist.
