| Introduction | I am a young designer who wishes to paint the world in bright colours, bring handmade/imperfect back into vogue, put a smile on people's faces, and find poetry in everyday life. I work in costume (film & TV) most of the time; I dabble in fashion styling, graphic & jewellery designing from time to time. I am a technophobe facing my fears, travel junky, book lover, lazy blogger (currently working on that), amateur photographer, wannabe bohemian, avid collector of junk jewellery & souvenirs. My blog is about places I go, things & people that inspire me, my work, interests & some times, but not often, trying to make sense of this non-sense world we live in. I hope a sneak peak into my world will inspire and maybe even answer some questions. Happy reading! |
| Interests | Indian design, art & craft, Bollywood, mythology, religion, world cinema, illustration, comics, retro graphics, travel, world costumes, portraits, design books, interiors, fashion, textiles, flea markets & all sorts of kitsch objects. Mixing the Japanese aesthetic: Wabi-sabi (beauty of things impermanent, unconventional, imperfect) with pop art! |
What would you wear for camouflage if you were hiding in a gingerbread house?
Red peanut M&M's costume :)
