Introduction CAMILLA LAWSON curator, event manager, visual artist, prop maker & speciality themeing. Before embarking on a creative life and having completed a BSc(Hons) DipEd at Macquarie University, Camilla taught High School Science in Canberra, soon moving into genetic research at Biotechnology Aust Pty Ltd, Sydney, and later at Cambridge University, UK. At Cambridge University, Camilla shifted into Population Ecology research which she continued at Parks and Wildlife Commission of the Northern Territory (PWCNT), Darwin. Camilla completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Charles Darwin Uni 1997), winning an award for painting; a Graduate Diploma in Media Production & Communication (UTS, 2004) winning Outstanding Student of the Year; and recently a certificate in Art Therapy (Taruna College, NZ 2006). Her arts career has involved Scientific illustrating; Designing & writing Interpretative Natural history and Cultural heritage Signage; Festival Event Management; Arts Administration; Designing and implementing Community Arts Projects; and Producing & installing large scale stage and venue props and themeing for festivals.
