| Introduction | Constance Spry (5 December 1886–3 January 1960) famous British educator, florist & author. Mary Berry, CBE (born 24 March 1935) a British food writer & television presenter. Published over 70 cookery books, & more recently is well known for being a judges on BBC’s The Great British Bake Off. Me, (born 2 November 1967) a wife, administrator, freelance florist & and NAFAS Area Demonstrator. We all love to cook whether it be a satisfying meal for one; a cosy meal for two or entertain with a more formal meal for friends and family. Apart from the food looking good enough to eat we also want to make our table look nice and usually once the table or tray is laid it is adorned with perhaps a single stem rose; a few flowers from the garden or a more elaborate centrepiece. This blog is combining the two food and flowers and to make everyday a pleasurable entertaining day. My hobby is baking and I have a passion for flowers whether for pleasure, demonstrating, teaching or exhibiting. A link or recipe will be shown to direct you to the book & will be given where credit is due. So let’s eat and smell the flowers. |
