Introduction	If you are reading this, then you probably already know about me and my family, but in the off chance you don't, here it is in a nutshell. My name is Lauri Dean and I have been married to the love of my life, Casey Dean, for almost 7 yrs. After trying for a very long time, we had our little boy Ty on October 9, 2008. He is such a joy and the highlight of our life. Having him was very challenging and we went through many trials and tribulations, which is a blog in itself (or should have been) We currently live in Madisonville, TX, where my husband is from. I want this blog to primarily be about my amazing family, which for the most part, it will be. However, I have to start this blog with out current situation. Ty, our 2 and a half yr old, was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Wednesday, March 16th. The name of the brain tumor (Pre Pathology report) is Pilocytic Astocytoma and was fully removed and hopefully cured on Friday March 18th. Removing a tumor from a little boy TY's age is most challenging because of the struggles that he may have after.. and thus the purpose of my blog. We are currently at Texas Children's (Wonderful Place) in Houston and will be here for quite sometime.
