| Introduction | On May 27th 2010 our lives were changed forever. Our 2(2 years, 3 weeks and 5 days) year old was diagnosed with diabetes. Our days consist of a fine balance of blood sugar levels, diet and insulin. I never would have imagined this happening to us. We are learning and growing and hoping to spread awareness and education where ever we go. Ava is our little sunshine regardless of what is happening in her daily life and I hope she inspires others to keep on going with a smile on their face and head held high. If she can face this disease head on then I believe any one can. I started blogging(www.sweetavag.blogspot.com) to document our journey so we can look back on how far we have come in such a short time. Life is about living and that is what we are going to do! |
