Introduction	I am a new Economic Affair Officer in the U.S. Foreign Service. I say this is my 4th career: I worked 10 years for Microsoft in various international technology & business strategy roles; 2.5 years (because even half-years matter) for USAID as a Chief of Party in Ukraine; and, 9 years for NASA (Headquarters, GSFC, JPL) in R&D program management. My whole life has indeed been preparation for this work.
