| Introduction | The perfect moment in time to me is a synthesis of soulful chow, comforting libations, and favorable company. If such is attainable on any given day or night, it will be one that I will always cherish. I am not adverse to Yelp, but more often than not, I'm adverse to Yelpers. It severely irritates me when I see people try really hard to look sharp, but wear things that don't fit their bodies' silhouettes and it butchers me when people lambaste their personal aesthetic with tacky and tasteless adornments. I really don't understand the gaudy LA rock star thing, but I also find the whole artsy fartsy hipster thing a little amusing too. Most of the time, less is more and simplicity is quiet elegance. There are fewer things sexier than a full body laugh...the kind where it's hard to keep standing up. It's sublimely authentic and sincere. I love Swanson Chicken Pot Pies and Totino's Pizza Rolls. They're one of those things that I know are awfully bad, but I don't really care, because they are embedded in my nostalgia. I will always try something at least one time and I will always try food at least twice. And I call San Francisco 'home.' It's my wonderland. |
