| Introduction | I am…..Mother to 5 children ranging in age from 22-5 and grandmother to one little baby girl. Married for over 23 years and farming since the beginning. A few years ago I let my love of animals lead me into many new adventures..hatching eggs, lambing, shearing sheep, drinking raw milk and many other things I never thought I’d be doing. I love learning about them and from them. I can’t seem to get enough. If you farm, you know what I’m talking about. I have many many chickens, a handful of sheep, bunnies and of course the cats and dogs. If I’m not in the barn, I’m probably in the house schooling my children- yes, they are homeschooled. I love to bake bread and garden. I also love to create things. I’ve been teaching myself to knit, crochet and I am learning to spin. In the summer time I enjoy selling sweet corn and other garden produce, homemade bread and goodies at our local farmers market. I look forward to each new day and seeing what God has planned for our family. |
