| Introduction | It meant “dweller of the sea” when my parents gave it to me. Weird, I know. What my name means now is child of God. I used to be a train wreck – broken, selfish, never quite getting it right… apart from Christ. Then I realized this world isn’t about me. God called me out of my sinful lifestyle and my selfish attitude and offered me what no one else could. Hope. Rescue. Purpose. He introduced me to His son Jesus, and I knew I’d never find love like that anywhere else. By choice, my Father separated Himself from His Son, His Son Jesus accepted my punishment and condemnation, and God credited to me the cleanliness, holiness, and righteousness of His perfect Self. Because He loved me, I now live to serve Him and carry out His good purpose in surrender and with intention. And because He loves me, I love you. |
