| Introduction | I began fifty-six years ago. I was called into service by the Great Commander in 1971. My comrade-in-arms was commissioned about the same time. Our most important mission has been training younger troops for battle. Our greatest joy is watching them prepare even younger soldiers to take to the ramparts in their turn. |
