| Introduction | I became circus-central when I was 10 years old and saw Clyde Beatty perform. I kept thinking I could enter (and more importantly) exit the steel arena as he did. Alive and well. I was over 30 years old when I accomplished that goal. I worked the cat acts at Carson & Barnes circus and Jungle Larry's in Florida. I recently published a book on that subject. I still can be found visiting a circus lot whenever possible. |
