| Introduction | You've landed yourself right in my nest! Welcome, get cozy, settle in and stay awhile. I have been collecting bits and pieces of treasures since I was a little girl growing up on an island in the deep south. I have always been a recorder of memories, and a listener of stories of times gone by. I love all things feminine and beautiful so I naturally took to scrapbooking because it encompasses all the things I love. Ribbons, buttons, old photographs and flowers...give me some glue, paper and a little something sparkly and I'm happy for hours. I grew up in Galveston, on the Texas Gulf Coast, and after marrying my handsome prince, we jumped on his white horse and rode to Arizona to live in the desert for a few years. We have been in Oregon now since '96 and have been married for 19(!) years. Two tiny little boys keep us busy and very, very happy. We share our home with two 13 year old brother and sister kitties (Nicholas and Jemimah), fifteen fish (give or take a fish) and two very active, funny and personality laden hermit crabs (just kidding). Since I was born on an island I naturally wanted to live by snow capped mountains when I grew up, so I'm living the dream. |
