| Introduction | I grew up in East Greenbush and went to Columbia High School. In High School I played softball, basketball, and ran track. I then went to Hudson Valley Community College and Sage College of Albany. I graduated with a degree in Physical Education, in May 2008. I am also in the process of completing my masters in Health Education at Russell Sage College. In my free time I love to snowboard, hike and spend time with my dog Ziggy. My goal is for the students to learn how to live an active lifestyle, in and out of the classroom, and have fun while doing so. I want to be a positive role model. I will teach the students how to use all of the resources in their community. I want my students to have a variety of choices, including opportunities to have the freedom of choosing activities. I will broaden their exposure and encourage them to develop a life-long love of active participation. |
